    1. I believe that presenting the program in a visual-friendly mode might be helpful:

      01 READ A
      02 READ B
      03 READ C
      04 IF C>A THEN
      05....IF C>B THEN
06........PRINT "C must be smaller than at least one number"
      07....ELSE
      08........PRINT "Proceed to next stage"
      09....ENDIF
      10 ELSE
      11....PRINT "B can be smaller than C"
      12 ENDIF

Please note that this is a special situation when test cases covering 100% statement and 100% branch coverage are the same.
We have two decision points, one in line no 04 and second in line no 05.

      1. as input you use C<A -> false for decision from line 04 is tested
      2. as input you use C>A and C>B -> true for decision from line 04 and true for decision from line 05 is tested
      3. as input you use C>A and C<B -> true for decision from line 04 and false for decision from line 05 is tested

Both decisions are fully tested with above 3 test cases.
      Hope it is helpful.

    1. Hi Anitha,

please take a look at the state transition diagram from question 17. This table (hardly-readable, I must agree) from question 25 is visualized in question 17.

    1. Hi Sergiu,

please consider equivalence classes that are indicated in this question:

      class1: 0 - 4000 [4000 is tax free]
      class2: 4001 - 5500 [next 1500 above 4000 is 10%, so the upper limit is 4000 + 1500 = 5500]
      class3: 5501 - 33500 [next 28000 taxed at 22%, hence upper limit is 5500 + 28000 = 33500]
class4: 33501 - infinity [any further amount taxed at 40%]

having such equivalence classes we can specify boundary values between them:
      class1-class2: 4000, 4001
      class2-class3: 5500, 5501
      class3-class4: 33500, 33501

  4. For Q3 i think there is no correct Ans At all.
because 4000--5499|5500--31999|and 32000 unwards are 3 diff classes
so how £4000; £4200; £5600.fall in to diff class,£4000; £4200; are in to same class.
correct me if i am wrong.

    1. You use the test execution tool in 'Test Implementation and Execution' phase. In that phase 'Comparator' allows you to compare the expected results with the actual results.
