    1. Hello Elena,

      Thanks for the pointing the typo error.
      The typo error in the answer section is corrected.

      According to the ISTQB section "5.6 INCIDENT MANAGEMENT" section the correct answer is: "Test Incident Report".

      Explanation:
      While running a test, one might come across actual results that vary from the expected result.
      Some scenario which is not described any where and also it is not expected from the system at the time testing. Usually the aim of testing is to find the problems and unexpected situations. Commonly we call these kind of situations as "INCIDENTS".
      And incidents are reported using "Test Incident Reports".

      Sincerely,

    3. IEEE 829 covers only "Anomaly Report", not "Test Incident Reports" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_829), so the correct answer for question 29 is "a".

    2. Hi guys,

      The correct answer is option 'd' . if we have done 100% branch coverage that meant we have covered 100% statement coverage too. Until unless u cover 100% statement coverage, 100% branch coverage is not possible.

      Delete
    3. Option: d is correct because Decision Coverage is also known as Branch Coverage

    2. Hi
      I think for Q 32 answer is "C" is correct. According to ISTQB syllabus
      Test closure activities include the following major tasks:
      o Checking which planned delivrables have been delivered
      o Closing incident reports or raising change records for any that remain open
      o Documenting the acceptance of the system
      o Finalizing and archiving test ware, the test environment and the test infrastructure for later reuse
      o Handing over the testware to the maintenance organization
      o Analyzing lessons learned to determine changes needed for future releases and projects
      o Using the information gathered to improve test maturity

      Delete
    3. Incident and defect reports are not same. An incident must be investigated and may turn out to be a defect. Don’t consider there is any relationship between “Defect report analysis” and “Closing incident reports or raising change records for any that remain open”.
      So i still stay with "C".

  17. Hi, i think the answer for question 16 is (C)

    - Branch coverage: The percentage of branches that have been exercised by a test suite.
    100% branch coverage implies both 100% decision coverage and 100% statement coverage. (Glossary 2.2)
    => ii & iii are true, i & iv are false

    - Decision coverage is stronger than statement coverage
    => v is false

  19. Hi,

    the way you need to read this question is following.
    If client has CitiBank Card (true/false) and a certain type of room (silver/platinium) then a given set of actions is taken.

    if client has a member card and has a sliver room then offer an upgrade to gold luxury
    if client has a member card but has a platinum room then offer an upgrade to silver room
    if client does not have a member card do not offer anything.

    if you read it this way you'll see that since A client has a memeber card and a silver room the only option is actually answer d).

    hope it's helpful

    1. I.4000 => tax free
      II.4000+1500 (as the text says "the next 1500") = 5500 => 10% tax (between 4000 and 5500)
      III.5500+28000 (as the text says "the next 28000") = 32500 => 22% tax (between 5500 and 32500)
      IV.>32500 (as the text says "Any further amount") => 40% tax
      Now, if you look at the statement "III." you will find that only this values: 5800, 28000 & 32000 have one corresponding tax wich is 22% => the answer is "d."
