It is not a foundation level
ReplyDeleteYes this is foundataional level.
ReplyDeleteFrom ISTQB Foundation Sample Question Paper No. 1 - ISTQB Foundation Sample Question Paper No. 33 are all foundational level.
IMHO, Answer for Q-22 is B, and NOT a.
ReplyDeleteplease correct me if i wrong, or fix the answers page if I'm right :)
Corrected and Thanks for the check
Delete@ Sahar - Hi,can you tell me how did you get the correct answer....I didn't find in ISTQB book.Have you given the exam...? Can you help me the pattern of questions. Thanks!
Delete@mukta: can u plz fwd me the ISTQB book, email: shobhna.mehra20@gmail.com
Deleteanother issue: Q-38, IMHO, answer is C (let me know if I'm wrong..)
ReplyDeleteCorrected and Thanks for the check
DeleteQ-40, Answer is B, IMHO of-course :)
ReplyDelete(next time i will wait till the end of the test before i comment my issues :) )
Corrected and Thanks for the check
DeleteWhy the answer for Q40 not D,any guesses because that is the primary goal of testing, option B is the primary foal of Acceptance testing and not testing in general.
ReplyDeleteHere the question is about the ultimate goal of testing.
DeleteWhile testing our aim is not finding the bugs, whereas the basic goal is to check whether is works as expected or not.
That is the reason the answer is: b) Validate that the system behaves as expected.
Hi All,
ReplyDeleteI am going to give My foundation lavel exam on 17 Nov. I have been gone through all the papers from 1-27. Although they not seems very difficult. But the question papers from 18-33 for Mar'12 relatively hard than before :-(
Can any one please guide me about the toughness of questions to be asked in exam , or the syllabus has been changed, or these questions are some different or something else. Please suggest me .
Yours valuable comments are really appreciate.
Thanks
-Amit Singh
Hello Amit,
DeleteThe questions for the foundation level are not tough.
It all depends on your understanding about the concepts explained in the ISTQB Foundation level book.
Once you clearly understand the concept everything will be easy.
So focus on the basic concepts and its aspects.
In exams you will get questions like this, just read the question and analyze it will and you will get the answers.
Syllabus is has not changed.
Sincerely,
What about Q4? What is Object Oriented testing? There's no such term in glossary!
DeleteThe same with Q18 "Affinity Diagram"
DeleteDo i have to go through the complete ISTQB book to give foundation exam? Can i practice a lot of dumps then give the exam...which way,i shall be successful, please guide me...
ReplyDeleteAlso, Please tell me if these foundation exams are of year 2012 itself, not older than this? Can you tell me what are the important chapters in ISTQB book which i need to carefully read so that it can help me in clearing the exam....Do we get some Distinction also,if we clear the exam with good percentage...? Please help me with these questions...Thanks -Mukta
ReplyDeleteI think the answer for Q.8 is D.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right because test procedure according to glossary: "A document specifying a sequence of actions for the execution of a test. Also known as test script or manual test script"
DeleteI believe that answer to Q.20 should be a) as boundary values are closest to the concept of negative testing.
ReplyDeleteCorrect ans for Q1 is C
ReplyDeleteUsability testing is non functional testing, system testing is both functional and non functional, so the answer would be C, can you please cross check on this.
